Spiced Up Hummus
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic (EVOO Marketplace)
- 3 cloves Garlic (More if desired)
- 1/2 tablespoon Sea Salt (EVOO Marketplace)
- 1/4 cup Tahini
- 15oz cans Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans)
- 6 tablespoons Harissa Olive Oil (EVOO Marketplace)
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
Directions
Step 1 | |
Combine Tahini and Sicilian Lemon Balsamic in food processor. Mix until whipped (~1-2 minutes). Scrape sides and proceed to step 2. | |
Step 2 | |
Add Harissa Olive Oil and Sea Salt to whipped Tahini/Sicilian Lemon Balsamic mixture. Process for ~1 minute. Scrape sides and proceed to step 3. | |
Step 3 | |
Drain and rinse Chickpeas. Add 1/2 can Chickpeas to mixture made in Step 2. Process 1-2 minutes. Scrape sides and add remaining Chickpeas. Process an additional 2-3 minutes. If hummus is too thick add a tablespoon of water at a time until desired consistency is reached! Sprinkle with Paprika. Enjoy! | |

Serve with warm Pita bread, Naan bread, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes. |
