Our Aceto Balsamico di Modena Dark is inspired by the centuries-old tradition of barriques resting in Italian attics—smooth, full-bodied, and crafted in Modena from the must of seven grape varieties: Lambrusco, Ancellotta, Albana, Fortana, Montuni, Sangiovese, and Trebbiano.
Carefully cooked, caramelized, and aged in wooden barrels using the traditional Solera Method, this balsamic offers a brighter, more vibrant profile than our thicker finishing balsamics. At 6% acidity, it brings lively balance and classic Modena character to vinaigrettes, marinades, reductions, and everyday cooking. ✨
Expect a smooth, rounded tartness with rich depth that pairs beautifully with leafy salads, tomatoes, grilled vegetables, steak, pork, chicken, seafood, and reduction sauces for savory or sweet dishes. 🥗🍅🥩🍤
